Different sizes can suit different treatment areas, but head size alone does not tell you how deep or effective a treatment will be.
What a head changes
On radial devices, applicator geometry changes contact area and the way mechanical energy is coupled into tissue. Smaller heads can concentrate contact into a smaller region; larger/flat heads cover broader surfaces. Exact clinical use remains manufacturer- and protocol-specific.

EVO currently lists five round sizes from 10–30 mm. PRIME lists nine heads from 6–40 mm, including 20 mm and 30 mm flat variants. Those dimensions are useful for use comparison, not a prescription for a body part.
Care checklist
- Inspect the contact surface before use.
- Use the manufacturer-specified coupling medium.
- Replace visibly damaged heads according to manufacturer guidance.
- Do not mix parts between models unless compatibility is explicitly confirmed.
